The following drone was recorded live in a rehearsal space, featuring a bass, saxophone, an MS-20 synthesizer, and a modular rig.

As we were group four this year, and the output file name of the recording was _004 — we named the drone zero zero four: coincidentally, and fittingly a network-code for “end of transmission.”

A snippet of spoken word from an audio tape found in the trash weaves in and out of our tones, with the end section focusing on stripping back the wall of sound, trying to create some percussive elements from our instruments.
